Vet Debt Rikki's Refuge is home to the "unwanted of the unwanted," the aged, lame and otherwise medically fragile cats, dogs and livestock that no one wants. These creatures are usually able to live out long and full lives with a minimum of veterinary care - they just need someone to invest the time and love required to keep them going, which our staff and volunteers provide. Once in awhile, however, a dental is required, a tumor needs removing, or some other procedure needs doing which requires a veterinarian. Although they are very generous with their time and expertise, we still need to pay for supplies, medications and all the other necessities.
