Vinnie is looking for a forever homeAvailable for adoption:

Vinnie is your typical JRT. He's very high energy and has been known to be mischievious. He's got a great personality, and has been with the same family for 7 years. He's of the short leg and slick hair variety JRT and weighs in at about 18 pounds. He's an indoor dog, although he loves the outdoors and would be great on a farm or in a household that doesn't mind him getting dirty from time to time (he loves to roll in the grass). He's happy when he has a bone to chew on and is an expert at fetch *and* return. He has never had people food, so he does not beg. He is completely housebroken and will do just about anything for a cookie. He is cage trained and will happily sleep in his cage and stay there during the day. He has taken intensive training classes and can sit, stay, and heel on command (like any JRT - when he wants to). His worst habit is jumping on chairs that are not tucked under a table. Please send inquiries to jewleigha@yahoo.com

There are many other adoptable dogs at Rikki's, although most of them are older or special needs animals. Please contact the refuge via phone or email to see when an adoption coordinator will be available to show them to you.

Better yet, come on down and volunteer and you can meet and interact with the dogs as you work.
